These stories and fragments should all be connected. Work to draw connections). One section might talk about a piece of music, literature, or film relevant to the topic you are exploring. This essay should explore a topic through these fragments and stories.This is NOT a research paper. This is a creative essay that must tell a story. You want to describe characters and settings in detail to create a compelling STORY. This is not an essay about a topic. It would help if you were telling a story with characters, drama, dialogue, etc. As for the number of fragments, you should probably have 3-10 fragments, which means they will be from 150 – 500 words each.
